UWL is excited to welcome 33 new international students to our campus this fall! Overall, these students represent 20 countries that have now joined the UWL community.
During this fall's New International Student Orientation, the annual Ice SCREAM Welcome we had the biggest turnout yet. The event featured a performance by the Screaming Eagles Marching Band directed by Dr. Tammy Fisher. Chancellor James Beeby and UW System President Jay Rothman even joined in on the fun! After the exciting social, the night ended with a cruise on the Mississippi with La Crosse Queen Cruises.
A huge thank you to everyone that came out to volunteer, perform, or just enjoy the show, and a huge welcome to all of the new international students.
