The Provost Search Committee has recommended and received approval for five, finalist candidates to come to La Crosse for campus interviews.
The search for the next UWL provost is nearing a decision-making point, and the campus community is encouraged to participate.
The Provost Search Committee has recommended and received approval for five, finalist candidates to come to La Crosse for campus interviews. As part of each candidate’s two-day visit to campus, there will be an open forum in which they will give a short presentation. They will also answer questions from the faculty, staff and students who choose to attend.
A summary of the dates for these open forums follows. Included in the listing are the candidates’ names, pertinent titles, their institutional affiliations, and potential departmental affiliations. Thursday, Feb. 16, Dr. Greg Cook, associate vice chancellor for Academic Affairs, UW-Whitewater (Psychology), 1:30-2:30 p.m., 3310 Student Union

Each open forum will be recorded and made available to the campus community to view on Mediasite for 48 hours, during which time the committee encourages members of the campus community to participate in evaluating that candidate via a Qualtrics survey that will be sent out as part of a reminder of each candidate’s open forum.
Each candidate will also have other meetings with specific groups of faculty, staff, and students during their UWL visit.
