Dale Clements of the Tavern League recently presented the final check of $2,172.41 to the UW-L Foundation to complete the group’s commitment.
The gift qualified for matching funds — $1,500 from the Wisconsin Tavern League and $1,000 from the 3rd District Tavern League. The La Crosse group qualified for matching funds during its five-year pledge to reach its $25,000 pledge.
"This is an outstanding story of the kind of commitment and collaboration from local small business that has made the new sports complex a wonderful reality," says Al Trapp, UW-L Foundation President.
