Less than one week until students are back on campus full-time

The campus is about to get crowded. UWL students will start moving back into the residence halls on Friday, August 31. Throughout the weekend, there are several activities planned for the students as part of New Student Orientation. “This is such an important weekend for students, as it’s likely their first time on campus without their support groups or guides to get them around campus,” says Sarah Joslyn, First-Year Experience Coordinator. Then on Tuesday, September 5, classes start and Welcome Week continues. “If you see someone lost and confused, ask them where they’re trying to go,” reminds Joslyn. “Make them feel welcome during this busy, yet exciting time.”
