The president and founder of the Washington Consulting Group, a multicultural organizational development firm from Baltimore, will talk about the role of leaders, and how anyone can help to create a better world during a UW-La Crosse presentation.
Well-known to the leadership world, Rev. Jamie Washington will speak at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, in Valhalla, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition.
Washington has a doctorate in College Student Development with a concentration in Multicultural Education from the University of Maryland College Park. In addition to his positions as president and founder of the Washington Consulting Group, he has been working in higher education for over 20 years, having experiences as both an educator and administrator. He has held leadership positions in a number of national organizations, from the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) to the National Black Lesbian and Gay Leadership Forum.
