Constance Arzigian and James Theler presented "Ritual Contexts from Oneota Sites in La Crosse Wisconsin" at Midwest Archaeology Conference on Oct. 12 in Mankato, Mn. The paper was part of a symposium on "Ritual as Function and Process in Midcontinental Pit Features."
Marina Tingblad, UWL Archaeology and Anthropology, received the award for Best Undergraduate paper in the Student Paper Competition at Midwest Archaeological Conference on Oct. 12 in Mankato, MN. Marina presented "Understanding the Construction of Oneota Vessels with Experimental Archaeology," which was her Senior Thesis paper in 2019 at UWL.
