As you are aware there is a 2% Pay Plan increase scheduled for June 30, 2024
One of the eligibility requirements is to have completed all Mandatory Employee Training (Mandatory Reporter – once; Sexual Harassment/Title IX – every three years; and Information Security Awareness – annually). Employees received an email assigning necessary training on March 1, 2024. In addition, reminders for incomplete training(s) have been sent on March 7 and 14, and on April 15.
**IMPORTANT**: Policy for pay plan eligibility requires all Mandatory Employee Training be completed 60 days prior to Pay Plan. The deadline for training for those who received notification on March 1 is April 30, two weeks from now. Pay Plan eligibility is being administered by System this year and they will not be allowing late completions. This is a hard deadline. Failure to complete Mandatory Training by April 30 will disqualify you from Pay Plan. Supervisors should work with staff to ensure they have time and access to a computer to complete the training before April 30. It is the employee’s responsibility to complete the training and request time and access from their supervisor.
It should be noted that new employees have 30 days from date of hire to complete Mandatory Employee Training before being considered overdue. Examples: an employee hired on May 10 will have until June 10 to complete all trainings to still be eligible for Pay Plan on June 30. An employee hired after June 1 will not be overdue by June 30 so they will still be eligible for Pay Plan.
Please be aware, this message is specific to Mandatory Employee Training. There continue to be other disqualifiers for eligibility for Pay Plan which include discipline within the 12 months prior to June 30, 2024, non-meritorious performance reviews, remediation or performance improvement plans, etc.
