Around 500 area high school students will join the UWL Screaming Eagles Marching Band kick off their 6th annual High School Band Day during the Eagles’ opening football game.

Around 500 area high school students are expected to help the UWL Screaming Eagles Marching Band kick off the season during the Eagles’ opening football game Saturday, Sept. 10. The students from nine area high schools will take part in UWL’s 6th annual High School Band Day. Schools participating include:
  • Bangor High School
  • Central High School
  • Galesville-Ettrick-Trempealeau High School
  • Holmen High School
  • La Crescent High School
  • Logan High School
  • Prairie du Chien High School
  • Tomah High School
  • Wabasha-Kellogg High School
The high school bands will join the Screaming Eagles for two songs during the pre-game performance, along with three songs during halftime. The Screaming Eagles will also perform their field show at halftime featuring the music of pop divas, including Demi Lavato’s “Confident,” Meghan Trainor’s “Lips are Movin,” Jennifer Lopez’s “On the Floor” and Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off.” The pre-game show will begin at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex at 12:35 p.m. The Eagles will be looking for their second win when they take on Ripon College. Kickoff is at 1:05 p.m.
