‘Vocal Trash’ to perform at UWL Oct. 13

An urban-themed Broadway-style show featuring recycled instruments is coming to campus.

Vocal Trash will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, in Valhalla, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition. Critics have described the group as “Glee meets stomp.” Vocal Trash focuses on using recycled instruments to sing and perform industrial-style drumming, along with comedy and break dancing. Tickets in advance are $2 for students and $5 for others; for tickets contact Cartwright Center at 608.785.8877. Ticket prices double the day of the show.
