UWL master’s in educational leadership ranked among top nationwide for affordability

UW-La Crosse is among the top 25 schools nationally for the affordability of its online master's degree in educational leadership. UWL tied for No. 22 on the list of the 2019 Most Affordable Online Colleges for Educational Leadership for its Master of Education - Professional Development Educational Leadership Emphasis program. The program is one of many graduate education programs offered through UWL’s Institute for Professional Studies in Education. UWL is the only school in Wisconsin to make the list. SR Education Group manually researched the tuition of every college offering fully online degrees to determine and rank the most affordable choices. UWL’s 34-37 credit ME-PD Educational Leadership Emphasis is for teachers, school counselors, school psychologists, and school social workers at the bachelor’s level. Educators interested in expanding their leadership capacity for roles such as grade-level coordinator, department chair, curriculum coach, or teacher specialist, and are not interested in a formal administrative position, would also benefit from the program.
