Donations needed for MVAC’s Educator Matching Funds Program
Every year MVAC receives numerous requests for financial assistance from educators that are interested in bringing the science of archaeology and the pre-European people of the area to their students by working with MVAC to provide classroom presentations, lab tours, field experiences or resource materials. To address educators’ need, MVAC created an Educator Matching Funds Program that reduces the cost by matching funds provided by educators. In the past grants from various organizations have been used to create the fund. Unfortunately very limited funding is available for the 2017-2018 school year.
