UWL Screaming Eagles kick off season with Band Day Sept. 4

The UWL Screaming Eagles Marching Band hosting four area high school bands will kick off the season at the university’s season opening football game.

The UWL Screaming Eagles Marching Band will kick off the season at the university’s season opening football game Friday, Sept. 4. The band will also be hosting the 5th annual High School Band Day. The pre-game show starts at 6:40 p.m. and features 250 band students from four area schools: Central High School, Bangor High School, Logan High School and Holmen High School. The game follows at 7 p.m.  The high school bands will join the Screaming Eagles for two songs during the pre-game performance and two more songs for halftime. The Screaming Eagles will perform songs from “Fall Out Boy,” as well as many other pop hits.
