Nominations are being accepted for the Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Award.

Nominations are being accepted for the Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Award. Previous recipients of the award, presented by the Jubilee Center, include Roberta Stevens, Thomas Harris, Andrea Hansen and Maureen Freedland. The deadline for nominations is Dec. 21. The award will be presented during the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Viterbo University Fine Arts Center, 929 Jackson St., La Crosse. The featured speaker at the event is Rev. Andre Johnson, of Memphis Theological Seminary. The event also includes music by the Viterbo Choir, 9th Street Singers and Coulee Region Gospel Choir.
