The Book Review Index family of online products includes two distinct databases, including Book Review Index (BRI) Online and Book Review Index Online Plus (BRI Online Plus).BRI Online (index only) is a comprehensive guide to book reviews that includes more than 5 million review citations from thousands of publications. Long requested by customers, BRI Online is aimed primarily at academic and public library markets, while also boasting a strong appeal to K12. This online product will answer librarians’ demand for a single access point to index data contained in numerous print volumes of Book Review Index. Since BRI print has a strong standing order base, BRI Online will have a built-in audience ready to step up to e-content.
BRI Online Plus, like BRI Online, includes more than 5 million review citations; it also includes more than 634,000 full-text reviews from InfoTrac OneFile and InfoTrac Expanded Academic, as well as full text via links to library holdings, making BRI Online Plus the premier online review database. Access to full-text reviews allows users to conduct research in numerous disciplines, including literature, history, education, psychology, and more.
