Breakfast discusses robotics and AI impact on the Coulee Region
The upcoming 7 Rivers Region Spring Economic Indicators event will look at the use and impact of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) in the area.
AI refers to computer use to replicate intelligent behavior. It has increasingly been applied to a wide range of issues that arise in robotics, agriculture, medicine and diagnoses.
During the event UWL Professor TJ Brooks will share his insights on the innovative topic. A panel of business and medical professionals will also explain and share how robotics and artificial intelligence is impacting the way companies make decisions. The panel includes: Mark D. Sawyer, M.D., Surgeon, Mayo Clinic Health System; and John Seehafer, President, Seehafer Refrigeration Inc.
The event begins at 7 a.m. Thursday, March 5, in The Bluffs in the UWL Student Union, 521 East Ave N. Breakfast will be served at 7 with the program at 7:20. The event will end by 9 a.m. Cost is $25.
