Many of the math offices can be found on the first floor of Cowley Hall. Only a few stories up is the biology department, which received the same honor in 2013. But as time goes by, those flights of stairs seemingly shrink as members of both departments find more opportunities for collaboration.
The UW System Board of Regents is presenting members of the UW-L Math Department a 2015 Teaching Excellence Award at UW-Waukesha today. It’s the only department in the system earning the recognition this year.
