Human Resources Notice of Annual Holiday Schedule
Annually, Human Resources provides notice of the upcoming winter holidays. Please find below information related to the 2024-2025 Winter holidays:

Thanksgiving, Fourth Thursday in November | Thursday, November 28 |
Christmas Eve, December 24 | Tuesday, December 24 |
Christmas, December 25 | Wednesday, December 25 |
New Year's Eve, December 31 | Tuesday, December 31 |

Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Third Monday in January | Monday, January 20 |
Offices are permitted to close the Friday after Thanksgiving should the entire department or unit vote unanimously to do so, as the result is that certain employee groups will need to utilize paid leave to remain compensated for the closure. Campus will remain open.
[UPDATE] Additionally, offices will be permitted to close Monday, December 23rd, and Monday, December 30th should the entire department or unit vote unanimously to do so, as the result is that certain employee groups will need to utilize paid leave to remain compensated for the closure. Campus will remain open.
[UPDATE] Despite offices being closed, employees who wish to work on these days in lieu of using paid time may do so. Departments closing on these dates must communicate their closures to the Vice Chancellor overseeing their division.
