The University of Wisconsin System is currently conducting a trial of Scopus from Elsevier.
Scopus is a large, multidisciplinary abstract and citation database covering the sciences, social sciences, and humanities. It provides tools for tracking, analyzing, and visualizing search results. Coverage is 1970-present, with selected access back to 1823.
This database is being considered as a potential replacement for the Web of Science Core Collection from Clarivate Analytics. The current UW System-wide subscription to Web of Science Core Collection runs through the end of 2020.
