Single payroll timeline placed on hold.
Last year, UW System began communicating that the entire university system would be migrating to a "single payroll" beginning on 9/1/2020. With COVID occurring early in the calendar year, this timeline was placed on hold.
Last week, UW System announced to the campuses that Single Pay is now back on, with a target implementation of January 1, 2021. What this means is that beginning in January 2021, employees paid monthly will be transitioned to a bi-weekly pay schedule, (now instead of 12 monthly payments, they will receive 26 over the course of the year).

There will be communications announcing timelines, details, and town hall Q&A sessions; however, at this time, Human Resources does not have additional information.
