Finding Primary Sources

Posted 3:24 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008

A primary source is an artifact, document, or object that is a record of an event/phenomena from the time in which the event occurred. Examples include: diaries, letters, speeches, music, film clips, artwork, etc. Use Murphy Library's Primary Sources page to find a list of primary source search engines, subscription databases, and freely available e-collections.
