The new UW-L mobile application is available for free from the iTunes store. The mobile application allows users to view UW-L videos, news and current events. Those downloading the app can also find contact information for faculty and staff, or locate points of interest on campus. It is available in the Apple iTunes Store.
Additionally, smartphone and tablet customers can use the mobile site uwlax.ezaxess.com.
"We've been working on this application for a few months now," says Mohamed A. Elhindi, UW-L's Chief Information Officer. "We're always looking for ways to use available technologies to make life better for our university community. We think it's really going to help people navigate campus, learn about UW-L and find events and activities."
