Connie Arzigian and Jean Dowiasch presented “Avocational Archaeology:  Expanding the Archaeological Record beyond CRM” in the Midwest Archaeological Conference sponsored symposium Collaborative Engagement: Working with Responsible Private Collectors and Collections on October 19, 2017 in Indianapolis, IN.  

The two UWL students also attended the conference and shared their current research.  Jaelyn Roland (left) presented her Senior Thesis research on "Cultural Changes during the Protohistoric Period: An Oneota Case Study."  Andrew Anklam (right) discussed research he completed this summer on "Modeling Proglacial Shorelines of Glacial Lake Agassiz around Prehistoric Quarries in Northern Minnesota," co-authored with Dan Wendt.
