Encyclopedia of Journalism (Sage) This encyclopedia surveys the state of journalism at the end of the 21st century's first decade and includes analysis of trends, issues, concepts, individuals, institutions, media outlets, and events related to journalism. Coverage includes countries or regions to types of news media; media markets; journalism's technologies; legal and ethical issues; education and training for journalism; the processes and routines of journalism; ownership and industry economics; and news audiences.
