The “limited PSLF waiver” refers to the time-limited changes to Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program rules that allow borrowers to receive credit for past periods of repayment that would otherwise not qualify for PSLF. This opportunity ends on Oct. 31, 2022. Forms needed by UW System for approvals no later than Oct. 27, 2022.

UW System policy requires that UW System approve the PSLF forms before they are returned to the employee. Given the need for additional time in turning around these approvals, we encourage all participants to submit their forms no later than October 27, 2022, so that they may receive the approved form prior to the 10/31/2022 deadline.
