Pumpkin Decorating Contest Results are IN!

The second annual Murphy Library pumpkin decorating contest has ended. During Halloweek, near the library's enterance, staff members bring their creative talents to the table--or, rather, the pumpkin patch! This year's annual pumpkin decorating contest showcased a variety of fun and innovative designs, all crafted by our talented library team. We had 581 total votes from UWL students, staff, and community members. Let's take a look at this year's pumpkins and see who won!

1st Place: 249 Votes

Spookles' Cozy Reading Patch by Nikki Pegarsch, Digitization Library Assistant

2nd Place: 130 Votes

The Very Hungry Pumpkin by Sarah Bakken, Information Literacy Instruction Librarian

3rd Place: 122 Votes

Porkie Pumpkin by Laura Godden, Special Collections Historian

4th Place: 80 Votes
