When you hear ringing bells in area stores this Dec. 8, it’s likely a UW-L student. About 240 volunteers from across the UW-L campus will ring bells to raise money for The Salvation Army Saturday, Dec. 8, as part of the Annual All-UW-L Bell Ringing sponsored by the UW-L Habitat for Humanity chapter. The large turnout is primarily student volunteers wanting to reach out to their community during the holiday season.
