On July 1, 2021, the entire UW System will migrate to a single payroll process, transitioning employees who currently are paid monthly to a bi-weekly schedule.  Please reference this link for additional information on how this change affects you. In addition to this transition, UWL Human Resources has worked in consultation with UW Shared Services to modify the payment schedule for Overload and Summer Pay Requests. The purpose of this email is to help prepare you and your colleagues for the conversion to a bi-weekly pay schedule and understand how the payment of Summer Service, Summer Session, and Overloads will be affected by this transition.

For Summer Service and Summer Session these payments will be made on the remaining summer monthly paychecks (6/30/21 and 7/30/21) and the second bi-weekly paycheck (8/26/21). See below for pay date information.

For Overloads these payments will transition from each monthly paycheck to twice an academic term in the Fall and Spring.  Winter term will be paid as normal – once per term.
