Open Enrollment Begins September 27; Attend a Health Benefits Webinar
The annual health benefits open enrollment period for plan year 2022 is September 27 to October 22, 2021. This is when you can make changes for next year, including switching health plans, coverage levels, or adding/deleting certain dependents for an effective date of January 1, 2022.
Visit the Health page to find rates and other information about your 2022 health benefits. There are downloadable 2022 Health Benefits Decision Guides and the 2022 Open Enrollment Preview video that goes over important changes. Printed decision guides are also being mailed to retirees and employers who participate in the Group Health Insurance Program this week.
Health Benefits Webinars
The Department of Employee Trust Funds is hosting a series of webinars for members to learn about health benefits and connect with health plans and other vendors during open enrollment. The webinars are designed to offer you greater access to information than an in-person benefits fair. Plus, you can participate from the safety and comfort of your own home or your workplace.
Please click on the links below for more details, including webinar dates, times, and to register. Sessions are one-hour in length and offered at different times during the weekday.
- Open Enrollment Health Webinars – Learn more about health, dental, and pharmacy benefits, and get your questions answered by ETF benefits specialists.
- Open Enrollment Vendor Q&A Webinars – Learn more about available health plans and vendors (i.e., Aspirus, Delta, Navitus, etc.) and get your questions answered by vendor staff.
Sessions will be moderated to help answer as many questions as possible. Please do not ask questions that include personally identifiable information or protected health information.
All members who participate in or are eligible to participate in the Group Health Insurance Program are encouraged to register for these webinars. Please contact ETF with any accessibility concerns.
ETF will not attend in-person benefit fairs this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
