The 2022 Spring Reappointment process kicks off the week of September 27th, 2021.
The 2022 Spring Reappointment process kicks off the week of September 27th, 2021. Here are the tasks and due dates for each step of the process:
- Human Resources will send Excel file(s) of all applicable employee data to each Business Manager/Supervisor by 10/1/2021. In this data, the future dates of the next contract, if the employee is to be reappointed, will be included.
- Business Managers/Supervisors will be asked to submit EAFs to the Budget Office (budgetoffice@uwlax.edu) by 10/22/21, ONLY IF THERE IS A CHANGE TO THE APPOINTMENT INFORMATION.
- EAFs are only required for a change or non-renewal of the employees in the file
*As a reminder, the EAF form has been updated to include a Type of action = Non-renewal (Link to form: EAF FORM) - No action is required if the employee should be reappointed, and no changes are needed
- Additional EAFs are required during this time if you are seeking to employee someone in Spring 2022 that is not in the file (i.e. not currently employed for Fall 2021)
- EAFs are only required for a change or non-renewal of the employees in the file
- Budget Office will approve & forward all EAFs to HRinfo@uwlax.edu by 10/29/21.
- Human Resources will make HRS system updates by 11/19/21.
- Human Resources will email appointment notices or notice of non-renewals to employees by 11/30/21. HR will provide a communication to Business Managers prior to these being sent out as an FYI, please share that communication as desired.
*As a reminder, signatures by employees are not required on the notices. This is clearly stated in the email and on the notice.
- Human Resources will upload appointment notices and notice of non-renewals to the electronic pfile by 12/17/21.
